Therapy can support people living with anxiety, low mood, stress, emotional exhaustion, grief, loneliness, self-criticism or difficult transitions.
What sessions are like
Therapy begins with a conversation, not a test.
The first session is an opportunity to share what has brought you here, ask practical questions and see whether the service feels suitable. The pace is collaborative. You will not be expected to disclose more than you are ready to share.
My main therapeutic orientation is Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). It offers a humanistic way of listening to emotions and the meanings they carry. Depending on your needs and the clinical context, I may also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and creative expressive approaches.
The aim is not to remove every difficult feeling. It is to make room to understand what those feelings may be telling you, and to find more workable ways of responding to yourself and the situations you face.
